Each week more than three children in New Zealand are diagnosed with cancer. The Child Cancer Foundation aims to reduce the impact of cancer by offering services that ensure children and their families are supported, informed and remain connected at every stage of their cancer journey.
At any one time the Child Cancer Foundation is assisting over 500 families across the country, connecting with families upon diagnosis and offering targeted practical and meaningful assistance in hospital, at home and in the local community.
Professionals is a Gold Star Sponsor of the Child Cancer Foundation. Since 1994 we have helped them continue their invaluable work by contributing over $4.2 million in donations and project funding.
As well as gifting a percentage from each property sale, our offices around the country host numerous fundraising events throughout the year. These funds have helped establish two Family Places in Auckland and Wellington, holiday homes in Taupo and Queenstown and have contributed to the purchase of a national centre in Auckland.
The Professionals Real Estate Group is proud to be supporting the Child Cancer Foundation’s 2016 sibling and family camps.
“Professionals has been a fundraising partner for Child Cancer Foundation for over 21 years, raising in excess of $4.2million to date. To be associated with the Foundation’s camps is a privilege,” says Professionals Real Estate Group’s CEO Mike Henderson.
“These camps are a very important part of the practical support provided to both families and siblings of children with cancer by the Child Cancer Foundation. Supporting the camps provides a very tangible focus for our people to raise funds for such a worthy cause.”
